Pray for the World

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only                                                   love can do that." Martin Luther King Jr
As we see or hear the news from a global perspective it is certainly heartbreaking and saddens one heart and soul. I know that each country has their fair share of problems but when did taking of another life became the norm. PEACE, LOVE AND UNITY are words we hear from toddler stages. Is is too hard to practice these simple words?. The blood shed, the pain and suffering, the cries of our children the broken hearts and promises. We now live in a fearful world-fear of when we go out to public places will we return to family and loved ones just a fear of the UNKNOWN and UNEXPECTED. We are not even safe in our homes as we sleep with one eye open just thinking of what may happen next. When will the barbaric activities stop and just let peace and love reign within? Is it not easy anymore to love thy neighbour and do good?. I wonder where the world is heading?. My innocent child- is this the world I have brought him into. My heart aches as the loss of innocent lives is been ripped away so senselessly. The level of hatred and bitterness is beyond appalling. We need to be able to live fearlessly and live life to the fullest; but how can we do this with so many questions and then the answers to them seems non existent.

Whether it is first, second or third world countries the outcry for divine intervention is what we should strive for. Pray for Jamaica, Pray for Africa, Pray for Paris- pray for the countries whose situation are not know to the public. Pray for the child who ask for their mom or dad that was brutally murdered, pray for that mother, father, sister, brother, aunt and the list goes on. And on that note I CRY PRAY FOR THE WORLD as we are facing dark times.
We just have to try and be safe. ONE LOVE XX
